I like the way you put the masthead behind the cover star. This puts a clear focus on your cover star. Your colour scheme works well and is used on the front cover and the contents page. I think that using your colour scheme on the front cover and contents page links them together and keeps a theme running through your magazine. I think that it would have been better if your cover star was fully on a black background. I think that it would make your image look more professional.
Your front cover and contents page goes well together. I like how you put the masthead behind the student's head as well. However, the background of the photo is a bit distracting, maybe you could've made it a plain colour. The photo on the contents page has good connotations and I think it looks nice. Well done. :)
The front cover is decent, it includes positive connotations and a consistent colour scheme, however the image seems to be compressed which makes the overall thing lack professionalism. Maybe you could of used the whole page efficiently, other than that the front cover is good
